The fire pit uses a standard propane tank with 60,000 BTU (not included), while the burners are stainless steel. Clear petro glass beads come with the unit, however this fire pit is also compatible with lava rocks (not included). The aluminum frame has a rust resistant all-weather powder coat finish using a hand applied aged bronze finished UV protected top coat.
