I was scheduled for a furniture delivery on Wednesday, December 10th. On Tuesday, I received a call to confirm the delivery, and I specifically mentioned that I live on a military base. I requested they note that all delivery personnel must have proper identification, including green cards if applicable. However, when Wednesday arrived, one of the delivery drivers didn’t have his green card, so the delivery could not proceed. The driver contacted the manager, and they tried to reschedule for later that day, but nothing was available. They noted a delivery for Thursday, December 11th. After completing a satisfaction survey, I was contacted to discuss my dissatisfaction. During the call, I was informed that Thursday was no longer an option, and we agreed on 7:00 AM Friday, December 12th. By 9:05 AM on Friday, I hadn’t received any call or text, so I called customer service. They confirmed the previous notes, but no delivery was scheduled for my address that day. I was told they would contact the delivery manager and update me within an hour. By 10:18 AM, I called again for an update and was told they were still waiting on a response from the manager. It has now been two days since my original delivery date, and four hours past my rescheduled delivery time, with no concrete answers. This level of service is completely unacceptable. Additionally, I requested they waive my delivery charge, which they agreed to in the form of gift cards. However, I will now be requesting a refund via check instead. I do not want gift cards, as they would tie me to further business with them—something I am not willing to do. Update: On the phone now and I am being told it was supposed to be added to the delivery for today and it wasn't and they would have to reschedule. I asked to speak to someone else to elevate my complaint.
